چکیده
We have used the "threading-followed-by-swelling" approach to fix a daisy chain structure in solution, leading to the isolation of a captured [c2]daisy chain in 77% yield.

pH and light-controlled self-assembly of bistable [c2] daisy chain rotaxanes.
A logic gate based on a bistable [c2] daisy chain rotaxane decorated with lateral triarylamine units is described, giving rise to an INHIBIT logic function using proton concentration and light as inputs, and producing dual color change and supramolecular self-assembly as outputs.
متن کاملA Game Theory Approach for Solving the Knowledge Sharing Problem in Supply Chain
Knowledge management is the process of capturing, developing, sharing, and effectively using organizational knowledge as we known Knowledge management literature emphasizes the importance of knowledge as a valuable asset for SMEs. This paper highlights the efficient sharing of knowledge as a way of creating core competencies in the SMEs that are in civil construction activities. This perspectiv...
متن کاملSwitching and extension of a [c2]daisy-chain dimer polymer.
We report the synthesis of a [c2]daisy-chain dimer via ruthenium-catalyzed ring-closing olefin metathesis. Confirmation of the interlocked nature of the structure was achieved through single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The dimer could be readily switched from the bound to the unbound conformation by treatment with 3.0 equiv of KOH and subsequently reprotonated by treatment with 3.0 equi...
متن کاملRevealing highly unbalanced energy barriers in the extension and contraction of the muscle-like motion of a [c2]daisy chain.
Nanoscale muscle-like materials have aroused great interest as they may provide controllable mechanical operations by artificial actuations. Molecular designs to achieve the desired motion at the macroscopic scale in experiments require atomic level understanding. By systematic quantum chemical and molecular dynamics calculations we reveal that the length change is not only due to the linear te...
متن کاملMechanically bonded macromolecules.
Mechanically bonded macromolecules constitute a class of challenging synthetic targets in polymer science. The controllable intramolecular motions of mechanical bonds, in combination with the processability and useful physical and mechanical properties of macromolecules, ultimately ensure their potential for applications in materials science, nanotechnology and medicine. This tutorial review de...
